 Henna Safety

To ensure your safety and answer all your questions, we’ve compiled this list of henna safety tips.

  • Avoid black henna (all store bought and online brands) as it is a synthetic compound made with the chemical that’s in black hair dye (PPD). It can burn and permanently scar your skin.

  • Receive henna only from an experienced, certified henna artist who makes their own henna paste from all natural ingredients.

  • Avoid henna if you are living with a chronic blood or immune system disorder.

If you have any questions about henna safety, feel free to contact us! We’re here to help!
